Twilight is the time before sunrise or after sunset when sunlight scattered in the upper atmosphere illuminates the lower atmosphere and the surface of the earth.

twilight is when sun is beyond the horizon (both b4 sunrise & after sunset)
sunrise is dawn
Twilight it right before the sun goes completely away (the end of the day) Sunrise is when the sun begins to rise (The beginning of the day)
